This means the faulting application tried to access a memory address that it's not supposed to. The reason I suggest this is because of the error code, which is 0xc05, which is an "access violation". If you're not overclocking, try more modest timings and/or remove a stick of RAM and see what happens. If you're overclocking, reduce to defaults. As odd as it might sound, memory might be. I'm not really sure what to tell you at this point except that obvious the sound hardware isn't the issue here. Trust me, regardless of whatever fancy marketing name they come up with, it's just a good old fashioned basic audio codec with a kind of lavish software controls overlaid on top. I tried to run it through Nvidia's HDMI Audio, I tried running it through logitechs G930 headset audio and lastly through the Asus card. It does not make any difference what-so-ever what device it is on. I have tried to run the game on three different devices. Asus uses Realtek drivers on theit sound cards. I am just going to get a refund.Īny help would be appreciated. I have tried running it in compatibility mode with windows 8 I have tried setting the sound quality on 16bit 48k I have tried disabling other sound devices that was not using I tried turning the sound to stereo on my sound device I have the latest graphics card drives and my windows 10 is up to date. I have the latest sound drives from Realtek, I have the DX install that came with the game (Ran it from the game install directory), also ran both C distr, both of which I already had. The game runs fine for about 10 to 15 minutes, then I get the crash. I am wondering if anyone has actually ever successfully fixed it. So, I have seen a lot of people have had this problem.
